Definitive Building, Inc., established in 2002, is a Howard County based remodeling and construction company focusing on the enhancement of residential properties. DBI’s projects range from visually enhancing trim packages and built-ins, to recreation room / entertainment centers, to additions and full house construction.

DBI was founded and is owned by Steve Kershner. A native of Howard County Maryland, Steve graduated from Hammond High School and was a business major at Howard Community College and the University of Maryland. He resides in Ellicott City and has focused DBI on providing excellent construction products to customers in Howard and surrounding counties.
